Automatic start

The automatic start feature has stopped working and I cant get it reset to start automatically. I dont always remember to turn it on and its very frustrating when it doesnt record my steps. Ive sent emails to tech-support, but they have not responded. Has anybody else had this problem, and how did you resolve it?
