Footsteps Pedometer App Reviews

I have been using this app for almost two years. Recently, after the most recent update, an issue has cropped up where the step counter runs backwards when I start to walk after a pause, losing as many as 150 steps. Thats tough. I emailed technical support to no avail. They have not replied at all to my request for help. There are many other apps out there, e.g., Walker, Argus, etc. Save your money.

I like the application and use it often the one thing I would like to change instead of chimes I would like to have a voice and have the ability to make it louder or softer and change the voice Id like to be able to hear you have walked 2.5 miles and the time and the steps etc. etc.

Does what I need it to do, easy to use and I use it often.

Ive been using this for a couple of years now, does a great job at a basic pedometer for walks, and the improvements theyve made to it for being able to switch the screen and do something else and then come back while its been counting steps in the background is great. Love it.

Super easy to use. Since I have my phone with me all the time and it works in the background, I dont even have to think about turning it on. Thanks!

I like the concept. Tracking my steps, calories and miles was great when it was free, it actually motivated me, however once I purchased the app, it no longer worked like it did when it was free. Im thinking its on and its not Before it automatically did what it does. Now I have to check to see if its tracking and usually I dont realized until half the day is gone.

This would be a really great app if it didnt stop working when you got a phone call. I am going to find another app that will run regardless of whether I use the phone or not. I never remember to restart it.

The best pedometer for the money you can buy. Gives me a lot of information that keeps me on track for my workouts. I did not want to buy a bracelet pedometer, to me they have a kiddie or girly look. A good store pedometer starts around $35 and goes up to just over $100. I also did not know if I would lose interest in a walking routine. So, how far wrong can you go on this $2 investment?

I like the way it tracks my speed and calories.

Was promised to see history if buy full version. This was not done. Very disappointed.

Simple to use. User friendly, reasonable cost, summarized steps, convenient above all it works. High kudos to designers. You cannot rate what you have not tried so try it!

... but it amazes me that no 2 pedometers measure the same no. of steps,even from the same iDevice!

I wanted a pedometer app for my iPhone 3GS running iOS 6.1. Other pedometer apps stop counting steps when a call or message comes in or when you want to run another app in the foreground. Terrible! But not this one. Everything works great as youd expect it to. Yay!

This turned out fine for my use. I did not even have to read any instructions. Very good job.

Easy to use

This pedometer is accurate! I like that I can listen to my playlist through this app while I exercise.

Does not work dont buy it to inconsistent

Huge battery drain, stops counting steps when you receive a call or txt message. Not reliable. Not integrated with other Fitness Apps!

purchased this app for my iphone, I am very dissapointed. Sometimes works good, however, I can walk the same route and get 2 different reads. If it was just a few steps I could understand, but it is a half mile difference. Requested help from support with no response.
